Residential steel is not too complicated. It consists of beams and columns--but the way Sachs does it, you'll feel the difference. It's not just that we are friendly and easy to deal with, but we make your job so much more pleasant--from the moment when you pick up the phone to order what you need--to when our truck gets to your job not a moment too late--and the driver asks you politely and in good spirits where you'd like your steel dropped (and quickly unloads it), and then opens his cookie pail and hands you a cookie that's got to make your day! Dealing with Sachs is "coming home."

COMMERCIAL

There is no need for more steel companies that do commercial jobs--unless of course they do what we espouse--and that's simply to be "your gold standard fabricator". It's not just a saying, it's our philosophy... We may not be the prettiest, but from the start of work--until the last beam's set--we are with you--every step. Communication is what we really strive for. For our money that's where it is: building relationships as our steel builds your job--from anchor bolts through stairs and rails--with bar joists and roof deck atop columns and beams, we're really there to work with you.

FABRICATION

It really doesn't take much to call yourself a fabricator. Buy a welder, get a drill to make holes, learn to read shop drawings, get a spray gun, purchase a hoist, and you can call yourself a real fabricator. But what Sachs Steel offers is more--we call it "gold standard", and it's the difference between playing a symphony and pounding out a tune on a beat up piano. When you come to us for some work, you'll see professionals.

ON-SITE WELDING

Every once in a while, you may have a problem --with regard to a piece of steel--a length that is too short--a column that's too long--any number of trouble spots: it is then that you can call us for welding help (or cutting help) and rest assured we'll have someone out there to correct the problem. With our service your job keeps on; you won't lose precious time wondering what to do..Usually we can get out there within a few hours--plus we're reasonable and get work done efficiently.

BOOM TRUCK

If you want proof of our leadership here it is: the only steel fabricator who can assist you with a first class boom truck at the time you want with a driver who (bar none) will help you see you get the job done. And we are not prima donnas. If you want the boom truck to lift other than steel, we'll help you out with anything. So keep us at the top of your list when it comes to needing a boom truck now or tomorrow.

Your Gold Standard Fabricator

DESIGNING

Thanks to our membership in the A.I.S.C we are able to offer you some preliminary steel design suggestions. All you need do is send us the footprint of your building, a general layout, and we will have the engineers at the A.I.S.C prepare something for us to estimate and give to you. This is a free service to promote steel usage, so contact us with your project. The beauty part of this is it allows you to do some pricing in advance of hiring an engineer and paying for service you may never get to recoup.
